CREATIVE DIRECTOR - The Woodlands, TX area

The Creative Director sets the creative direction for all marketing of the company's brand. This person leads a team of in-house designers in the execution of creative across all media (direct mail, TV, radio, billboard, newspaper, digital, in-store materials, etc.). This role will also be responsible for managing all Marketing timelines, scheduling, proofing and will act as the liaison between creative, merchandising, compliance and external agency partners as it relates to creative.

Responsibilities:

The Creative Director’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Leads consumer insights to develop the messaging strategy across channels to maximize impact of creative and develop long-term relationship with customers

Manages in-house Design team, setting the creative strategy across mediums

Works hand-in-hand with Brand agency to develop TV campaigns and execute multiple TV shoots per year

Manages production timelines, scripts and all creative.

Leads direct mail creative for the Company; sets plan for creative testing on a monthly basis in this channel.

Leads the messaging strategy for Grand Openings to maximize impact when entering a new market

Partners with Compliance to obtain approval for changes in the credit marketing strategy.

Supports the entire marketing team with proofing of materials prior to release.

Manages the budget and forecasting for all creative efforts (TV production, POP, etc.)

Sets strategy for messaging in-store, including POP and price sign direction

Maintains regular contact with internal teams (i.e., merchandising, retail, compliance) and external agencies to ensure marketing strategy aligns with business objectives.

Travels to company’s regional locations as needed.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or other related field

5-7 years related experience

Strong foundation in consumer insights and messaging strategy

Experience leading team of designers

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Able to multitask and manage timelines in a deadline driven environment

Strategic leader that challenges the status quo

Strong attention to detail

Proficient in Microsoft office applications
